Command palette
The command palette, Search and go to, takes you to any page in the console, or to an object in your tenant, by typing part of its name. It knows your role, so it offers only what you can open.
Who can open it
Section titled “Who can open it”Every role, on every page once you are signed in.
Open and close it
Section titled “Open and close it”- Press ⌘ K on a Mac, or Ctrl K elsewhere. The shortcut works whatever your keyboard layout, Arabic included.
- Or select the search button in the console header.
Press the same shortcut, or Esc, to close it. Focus returns to where you were. The palette does not open over a dialog that is already on screen.
What you see
Section titled “What you see”Before you type
Section titled “Before you type”- Recent: up to five objects you opened lately (agents, assistants, tool servers, skills, runs, approvals and, for a platform admin, clusters), newest first.
- Go to: every page in your rail, in rail order, each with the group it is filed under, then Your profile and Notifications.
As you type
Section titled “As you type”Results are grouped, and empty groups are not shown:
| Group | What it searches | Shown to |
|---|---|---|
| Go to | Page names, their group, and their English names | Everyone; up to 6 matches |
| Recent | The objects you opened lately | Everyone; up to 5 |
| Agents | Agent names, ids and models | Admin, Builder, Auditor |
| Runs | Agent runs, by agent name and run id | Admin, Builder, Auditor |
| Models | The model catalogue, by name and family | Admin, Builder, Auditor |
| Collections | Knowledge collections, by name, id, database and embedding model | Admin, Builder, Auditor |
| Tenants | Tenants, by name and slug | Platform admins |
Each object group shows up to five matches. When you can see more than one tenant, a group’s title names the tenant it searched, for example Agents in acme; the palette searches the tenant the current page is showing.
When nothing matches, the palette says Nothing matches followed by what you typed.
How matching works
Section titled “How matching works”- Every word you type must appear in the result’s name or one of its keywords. Order does not matter.
- Matching ignores case and accents, so
modelefindsmodèle. - A result named by what you typed ranks above one only filed under it: an exact name first, then a name that starts with it, then a word in the name that starts with it, then anywhere in the name, then a keyword.
- Pages answer to their English names in every language, so
Runsfinds Runs in a French or Arabic console. - Runs are cited by id: type the first characters of a run id to find it.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”- Open the palette.
- Type part of a name, or nothing to browse.
- Move with ↑ and ↓.
- Press Enter to open the highlighted result, or select it.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Recent objects kept | 10 per person |
| Recent objects shown | 5 |
| Matches per object group | 5 |
| Matches under Go to | 6 |
Recent objects are kept in this browser, per person: someone else signing in on the same machine does not see yours, and another machine does not have them. Recent shows only objects your role can still open.
